I’m a born and raised Miltonian. Although I currently reside in Dunedin, I have strong ties to the Milton community through my work with Calder Stewart and my service to local community groups. I have always admired the work of community groups like the Milton Community Health Trust. They provide an amazing service to support their local clients and care for the vulnerable.

After taking a keen interest in community governance after leaving high school, I looked for an opportunity to upskill myself and help support organizations in the community. Having already spent my time supporting Hato Hone St John, the Milton Community Health Trust was a perfect opportunity to learn more about community governance. I have learned a lot, which has allowed me to transfer this knowledge to other community groups.
