Whanau Awhina Plunket is priviledged to be able to support our local pepi, whanau and tamariki through Well Child Checks - home visits and clinic visits (at Tokomairiro Community Hub). Plunket Nurse, Lauren, is passionate about her role, lives locally and values building whanau relationships in support. Our support services expand to maternal mental health support, virtual service delivery, online breastfeeding, sleep support etc. - all available through our Plunket Website. Plunket Line is available 24 hours per day and staffed by qualified nurses. There are a variety of informative and educational content on our Plunket Website for whanau to access also. Our community teams support whanau, pepi and tamariki locally through injury prevention (home safety, carseat checks etc) playgroups and home help services.
